PHILTER
six spectators - six cocktails - a story about a pirate
Philter is a multidisciplinary performance that invites the audience to the basement of a French restaurant to meet a bartender with a story to tell. Complex drinks and a story about love and adventure remind us that life is magical and truth is relative.
The autofictive monologue from performer Adam Opus describes the story of his father, the pirate. The performance is highlighted by specialty cocktails designed by Adam, that he serves to the audience throughout the experience.
Philter is an experimental and intimate performance combining theatre, magic and cocktail culture into a new genre, Cocktail-Theatre.
